A fun and imaginative children’s play where classic storybook characters magically come to life after the shop closes. When the bookstore owner needs help, these beloved characters jump out of their stories to save the day—leading to a fast-paced adventure full of humor, teamwork, and a little bit of magic.
From brave heroes and sneaky villains to silly sidekicks and fairy tale favorites, this show is packed with a wide variety of roles. Performers might find themselves playing everything from swashbuckling adventurers and clever detectives to royal characters, mischievous troublemakers, and more!
With lots of opportunities for big personalities, creative movement, and ensemble fun, it is a great show for young actors of all experience levels. Whether you love being dramatic, goofy, or anything in between—there’s a place for you in this magical story!
All roles are open. Registration table will open at 10:00 AM; please bring a current headshot if you have one. Come ready to perform a 30-60 second monologue of your choice to showcase your acting skills.
SHOW DATES:Â July 24th-26th at University Church in Waxahachie. Rehearsals will be begin Tuesday, June 30th.
